Friday we went into the city around 5:30pm to do some shopping and catch the fireworks. We started out by visiting Chinatown and bartering for some new awesome purses and t-shirts! Then we headed over to Little Italy, which is one of my new favorites in NYC, you really feel like you are in a different country.....we ate the most delicious pizza I have ever had (thank you $5 we found in the gutter!) Then we purchased a most expensive gelato and it tasted exactly like ice cream. Later we headed over to the East river to see the fireworks.....it was a great 4th of July!
