Jealous?

Please don't be jealous! It is February 22nd and I was really crossing my fingers that we had had our last snow fall. This is what it looked like at 9am as I was getting ready to go to work.
I know you can barely see the car!! After wiping off the car and attempting to drive my 5 miles to work, I was back in the driveway 10 minutes later. I got stuck twice!! It was so scary. I first got stuck on a hill, luckily no one was behind me. I was able to make a u-turn and go back down my street. I then tried to turn left on Putnam Ave (which is a major road). I got stuck again and this time I had 2 cars behind me. I tried to turn right but the car still wouldn't budge. The nice car behind me backed up and went around me and I was able to back up enough to turn around and tearfully drive back into the driveway! I know I am weak. I blame it on the fact that we don't have 4 wheel drive. So yes I am sitting at home using a personal day and watching the snow continue to fall and fall and fall. So please don't be jealous of me, especially if you live in CA, FL or Hawaii!Picture of the car after I returned.

Let's Go Outback Tonight

So this is Matt and mine's 5th V-day together! Well technically it is our 4th as we were broken up on our 2nd! So I wanted to take a stroll down memory lane and recall each of our valentine days together.

Year 1
We went to Black Angus and saw "Big Fish". I can't recall what we gave each other.
Year 2
We had broken up the night before and Matt gave me diamond earrings and I gave him a Fleetwood Mac Cd. I know it was so horribly romantic......remember there is a happy ending:)
Year 3
Our first V-day married! We went to the Temple and then went out to Ruby River.

Year 4
We had a homemade dinner consisting of shrimp cocktail and ....I don't remember! But for dessert we had key lime pie.

Year 5
This year we decided that we wanted to go to Outback. We knew it would be really busy and Matt doesn't get home until after 7pm each night, so we decided to go on Wed. night. But I have had a really bad cold all week, so we got Curbside pick up and indulged in prime rib and a blooming onion! For V-day I had left overs and Matt had a steak I cooked up for him. Then for dessert a slice of key lime pie! New tradition! Can see a trend with our valetines? We love our steak. Matt got me a dozen NYC roses and "The Aristocats". I love my Disney movies!

~To many more Valentine Days~

I Have Come A Long Way

Here is a fun little survey. A lot has happened in 10 years and a lot will happen in the next 10(because I will def. be a billionaire!)

TEN YEARS AGO: I had just moved to PA from CA and I was in the 8th grade!

FIVE THINGS ON MY TO-DO LIST:
Take singing lessons
Go on a cruise
Swim with dolphins
Open my own animal shelter
Earn a masters degree

WHAT WOULD I DO IF I WERE SUDDENLY A BILLIONAIRE? Go Crazy!! I would pay off my car and student loans, take my whole entire family on a nice trip. I would give a lot of the money to the ASPCA. Buy a house, take Matt to Moffat, Scotland, and go to Disney World. And of course fulfill everything on my To-Do List.

My BAD HABITS: sleeping in for way to long (until 1pm or 2pm if I am left alone), complaining, being pessimistic and the list goes on.......

5 PLACES I HAVE LIVED:
Glendora, CA
Towamencin, PA
Provo, UT
Sunnyside, NY
Greenwich, CT

5 JOBS THAT I HAVE HAD:
Server at a retirement home
Bank teller for PNC Bank
Cashier in the ASB at BYU
Adoption Caseworker for LDS Family Services
Social Worker at a retirement home

5 THINGS PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME:
I love old movies
I've walked across a bed of hot coals
I've been to Europe
I'm a HUGE BYU football fan
I collect Disney movies

That was fun.

Dream Home

This is the house I want someday. It looks like a Disney castle and that is why I love it!
