Today is Birth Mother's Day. This day was originally founded in 1990 by a group of birthmoms in Seattle, Washington and is celebrated the day before Mother's Day. Today is a day to honor the valiant, courageous, and selfless women who gave their children such a precious gift. I'm so grateful to know and work with so many of these women.

Birthmothes are amazing because they often understand the blessings they are giving their baby and there are so many couples who want a child more than anything but have no resources to have one other than through adoption. Well, there's always kidnapping, but adoption is the better route I'd say.
They are amazing and give a wonderful gift to their child and those who adopt.
