Friday we decided to go to Hanauma Bay and go snorkeling. We were going to take the bus but as were waiting some crazy taxi driver pulled up and asked us if we are going to Haunama Bay and gave us a rate we couldn't pass up! The only problem was that as soon as we got into the taxi we started panicking that we didn't have enough cash to pay him and get into the bay....but after counting it we realized we had barely enough to pay him, get into the bay and take the bus back! phew...
In order to get into the bay you have to watch an educational video that basically says to not step on the corral or feed the fish. I guess a lot of the corral has died and the fish don't come into the bay anymore....no wonder we barely saw any! It was fun to snorkel but I don't know that I would go back.
That night we decided to watch the Hawaiian sunset that everyone talks about. Let me just tell you that no one exaggerates these sunsets. They are amazing!

After watching the sunset we came upon an Army museum that just happened to be open late for the memorial weekend! We had to stop in for Matt. It was pretty cool to read about how thearmy base had come to be and what the 'Hawaiian' army did for the U.S.
